The Fib Review has posted yet another of my poems.
Read it THERE

In November I plan to write a poem a day (instead of doing NaNo)
YOU ARE WARNED.

Disapproving Microbo

The end of the year is coming with a little clean up.
Which means I found this twitter story, published by 7x20, which I forgot to tell about.

Wishing you the best of year's end.
Beware crackers and flying corks. If the going gets too wild, you can always do as Ansia does:

The best place to be

Camouflage

Today I had a sad,
So went down to the kitties.
They told me all was fine,
And did I have the crunchies?

They did a little dance:
I had brought some crunchies
They covered me with hair,
And I had a happy.

Camouflage
One of the strays at work had some kittens!
I discovered them today by looking into one of the kennels we have at the Pet Club shelter

The mother is very young (less than a year old) and has yet eluded capture for sterilization (hence the kittens) and fled when I showed up to cuddle my usual friends.

She only came back when I left the hut:

Worried mother and her look out

I try to explain to her that she was not supposed to abandon her kittens but to stand by them and HISS at intruders. She looked at me as if I was mad...
She might be on to something.
In some places, to curb the stray cat population, they grow them in pots and vases - as one can do with mint - to avoid having them spread too much.

An unconcerned citizen

An excellent idea, isn't it?
(Now I know where the term "catmint" comes from)

I'm feeling a little depressed by my current lack of energy, which - so I have been told - could (might) be blamed on the seasonal change. Or not.

Luckily, I have a silly cat at home who reminds me about the importance of keeping a zen attitude.
And of meditation:

I am reliably told that the Twitter stories anthology "140 and Counting" is now available for Kindle.
You're welcome.

Have some random cat picture while you're at it:

A short video called "Microbo LOVES greenbeans".

There is another video where he actually plays with it too...

Grey panther (the "love is for pussies" edition)

Microbo as the Grey Panther (the "Love is for Pussies" edition)
You can now read "A Tale of Two Gardens" over at The Night Garden Project!

A recipe!
A story!

Saving poor kitties one bite at a time!

Speaking of which , Caos ( my poor dandy lion) has developed an eye infection...

Poor sick dandy lion!

He LOVES playing the victim.
And I am chasing the cats with the camera. They do tend to hate this. I hear them grumbling of paparazzi and consulting their lawyer.

Although I have caught Miss Ansia in the act of trying to steal the puntarelle (bitter salad):

Oooh! Puntarelle!

Microbo claims he has nothing to do with all this:

I don't know them.

I suspect him of doing his Jules Renard...

Microbetta is in the meantime enjoying her favourite Sicilian disclaimer (I wasn't there. And even if I was there I was sleeping):

Polar bear edition

and Caos is unavailable for comments:

I wasn't there either

I was trying to go to bed to read a bit just now but I discovered someone had already taken the prize spot and was hogging the pillows...

Caught in the act!

That's Miss Ansia (Miss Anxiety) to you.
There has not been a cat post here for ages.
Some think it's a real scandal.

One thing is sure: Somebody will pay

And there will be hell to pay.

Hogging the bed

There.
Don't say you weren't warned.
